Keramische coating is een milieuvriendelijke beschermende laag die wordt aangebracht op de buitenoppervlakken van bijvoorbeeld boten en auto's. Het is een polymeer op basis van silicium die chemisch bindt met de ondergrond. Na uitharding ontstaat er een langdurig beschermende laag. De klant wordt namelijk de hoofdontwerper van zijn eigen Fjord. Met behulp van een unieke modulaire configuratie voor het dek stelt hij of zij zelf de boot samen. Ook het interieurontwerp is variabel en naar eigen wens aan te passen.

Ondanks het coronavirus verwacht het organisatieteam van Cannes Yachting Festival dit najaar een bezienswaardige 43e editie op poten te zetten. De Franse beurs staat gepland van 8 tot en met 13 september. Daarmee is dit de eerste grote Europese in-water boat show sinds maanden. FJORD is van de partij met 4 boten waaronder de introductie van de nieuwe FJORD 41 XL.
